Jody Mutschler - Lead Vocals, Harmony Vocals, Percussion As a young girl growing up in Minnesota, Jody began singing for family events and was later encouraged by a special high school teacher to develop her voice further which resulted in numerous vocal awards. Over the years she participated in various choral groups in Minnesota and both the Phoenix, AZ and Denver, CO areas and has performed as a soloist for many weddings and other events. Jody and her husband, Paul, met Jeff in the 90’s and they all occasionally played together for backyard BBQ’s, church events and other charity events. Her lifelong dream of being part of a band was realized in 2006 when Jeff approached her with an opportunity to join a country band that was starting up. Paul continues to sing select songs with the band when possible. Although she has always been partial to rock and pop music, Jody found that country music was really what she was meant to sing and has had a lot of fun doing it. Her inspiration comes from country performers like Martina McBride, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill and Patsy Cline. |

Tom Hughes - Keyboards, Banjo, Vocals Canyon Station is a far cry from Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Kiss, and Aerosmith that Tom was playing in high school. He's been playing in part-time bands as long as he can remember, from high school and junior high school dances in Grand Junction and Fruita, CO, to a few years with the Denver based Crazed Hipsters blues band in the late 80's. He took a few years off to race stock cars, then a few more to raise a couple of great kids with his wife, Kelli. He got back into the blues-rock scene with some friends and neighbors (The Neighborhood Band), and then finally pursued a life-long desire to pick up the banjo. In the course of the last couple of years, it has become his primary instrument, and he's had the opportunity to play with some bluegrass with Jeff and Kenny in Last Resort and Blue Mountain Bluegrass, as well as meeting up with Curtis and Allen at Swallow Hill and other area bluegrass jams. He's also gotten into the Celtic music scene and brings something a little different to traditional Celtic music with his 5-string. He stays real busy with a job in Corporate America, coaching baseball, football, and basketball, and Celtic festivals throughout the area. |
